Global Plant Control Automation has a solution for replacing the VAX and DEC Alpha Stations In the OIS 40s and 50s series of OIS with a Windows machine. The DEC/VAX software is run in emulation, and runs faster in the new machine, and as it is the same software and same licenses, the console runs exactly as it did previously, but with new supportable hardware.
